Right before I started the camera, Frank was imagining aiming at incoming fighters, as he did so many times, and said, "Tat, tat, tat, tat, tat..."

It seemed as though Frank was looking down at the deck, for the .50 caliber empties that would gather there. Were there .50 twins at the tail gunner position?

Frank felt the platform had been put in for the public; that he wasn't that elevated in wartime.
Yes, the nose and tail had twin .50's on Witchcraft. I received pictures in the mail Saturday from a lady who took some of us that day. Frank and I know her through the 8th A.F. local group and she happened to be there that day. Pics turned out great and I'll post them soon.
