Russ' haircut
Now that you've seen Taylor's hair cut blog yesterday, I can tell you she inspired me to get a haircut too. We've had such great weather here, going shorter seemed like the thing to do. Here are the before and after pics. (Mandy took the cigar pic a couple weeks ago and calls it my Hemingway photo.)
In the days afterward, I've wondered why I haven't done this before. We're in a recession here and I figure I'll save $22/month on haircuts and products. Double that when we're giving our son haircuts at home!

You know how I was printing the photo of Tate's "sweepy bangs" to take to my hairdresser?
Never mind...I'll take this one, instead. Talk about low maintenance! (Plus, I can buy more cigars with all the money I save.)

2) NOOO!!! You had such great hair! They make electric razors that don't take as much off, you know. ;) Ah well, it's just hair. It'll save time and money for sure. I'm trying to avoid anything but trims, which I have my friends do, to get the length down to my rear again.

Betheegail said it best, although I'm surprised she didn't comment on the cigar. (I delivered my sermon on the evils of smoking to her when she was barely out of diapers.) I loved Sinead's tongue-in-cheek remarks! What does Mandy think of it? You didn't ask me for my opinion, so I'll just say, "If I were you, I would look for a salon that would exchange haircuts for window washing." (Windows need washing about as often as hair needs cutting.)
Yes, Bessie, your mom is the most quick witted person I know. It's a talent for one's mind to think of humor that fast, and she does it faster than Maybee can show her teeth to a stranger.
It's (the haircut) so easy to take care of, I might stick with it. Also, Mandy likes it, which really is the deciding factor.
What about a compromise? How about going to the #3 head, leaving the hair a little longer?
I agree with the hair a little longer, but my daddy looks good in everything, so whatever you want. I love yall and cant wait to come down for spring break! I also get to hug my little bro! I love yall!
