The suspense is killing me...
Kristy's blog earlier this week mentioned that she single-handedly ended Texas's drought by getting a $12 car wash the day before the rains came. I wonder if "Juan" found the gag gift we left in her car while he was detailing the interior. If so, I wish I could've seen the look on his face. Here are some hints, Kristy:
What do Ricky Martin and tripe have in common? See your passenger seat back pocket to find out.
(I probably wouldn't have given a hint, except I realize that the person to find it might actually be the next owner of her Tribute. Waiting for you to stumble across it until March 13th is long enough!)

Ha, ha, ha! We found it in Austin last month when Bethany was driving us somewhere! We were stopped in traffic when I went fishing for a map or something in the rear pocket...and when I came up with a MENUDO ALBUM, we both burst into hysterics.
Wonder how many people who had jumped into my car as passengers had seen this? (The girls' friends, students walking home, other teachers, hobos I pick up, etc.)
You and your crafty little family are a DELIGHT! Like tasty menudo!
I'm so glad! That's a much better moment of discovery than if you'd found it from my hint. Glad Bessie could be a part of it too.
Our swinging pig is still on our porch, by the way.
Love ya.
Love the swinging pig! That and your Data mug are CLASSIC.
For those of you not in the Fowler Family Circle of Trust, we do this crazy thing where we leave little token "gifts" in each others' homes after we visit...but not gifts anyone would want...kind of like demented hostess gifts.
A partial list:
*Russell's creepy Data mug, seen here:
http://tinyurl.com/bubvm9
*naughty bedpan-shaped ashtray ("Put your BUTTS here")
*disco Santa
*outrageous ties & mugs
*Stone Cold Steve Austin clock
*a pig in a rope swing
*Boudreaux's "Butt Paste" ballcap (yes, there IS such a product)
*embarrassing books tucked in amongst bookshelves
*Pee Wee Herman videos (not the kind he likes...the kind he's IN)
*embarrassing CDs tucked in amongst CD racks
*politically incorrect salt & pepper shakers
*and well, you get the idea...
Thanks, Russ! My Menudo album is much appreciated and lets me know that I'm loved...
The first one I remember was the white, Jesus candle somewhere around 1995. I remember thinking, as I do every time you visit, "Who would buy this thing...and why's it here?....ohhh.....Kristy!" (said like Seinfeld always said Newman!)
I agree, the fun is in the anticipation and planting the gags.
Can't wait to see you! ;-)
The homemade Stone Cold Steve Austin clock is, by far, my favorite.
