James sleeping...
Here are the 2 still photos from our 4D ultrasound yesterday. James Russell is growing right along and looks beautiful, at least to these proud parents. James was being shy and covered his face with both his hands and feet for most of the ultrasound, so we have another appointment next Friday.
I have the video, but have not figured out how to upload it so you'll just have to come visit to watch it.

Handsome! I'm not gonna lie. This is half miracle, half grossing me out. I'm looking at the inside of AF. The whole pregnancy/birthing process is just the most horrifying thing ever. I'm making diamonds just thinking about it.
You're funny, Bessie. But sooommmeday, you may have a little Slagathor running around and you'll wonder what you ever did without him! Just wait until you're married!
Oh, MY, I can hardly wait for July. I see the root cause of Amanda Faye's heartburn--an old wives' tale that the mother's heartburn means that the baby will have a lot of hair at birth. That was true in my case, when Kristy was born with a thick head of coal-black hair! Precious James Russell will have lots of admirers!

WOW! Modern science is amazing...nearly as amazing as babies. Bessie Lou and I are going to try to come visit Mr. Handsome this August. (No promises, but we're working on it!)
Maybe you two will be ready for a date night by then, and we can take care of the little contortionist who can actually cover his FACE with his FEET! Please give Amanda Faye and James Russell hugs from the Texas Bunch.
