More pics of Dad...

Here are a few more pics of Dad. If anything is written on the backs, I'll type it below:
Tom-1943 at Grandma Fowler's-when Tom got lost. Note large knobbie tractor tracks-WC Allis Chalmers. Note old pump. The best water in the world! Grandad 1-30-99
Hobbs, NM, 1947 (They let Dad weld at 6 yrs old? At least you're wearing goggles!)
Hobbs, NM, 1947 (Dad, was that your house in the background? Very nice picture of you and Grandpa. Now I know where I developed my love for a pin-striped suit.)

I'm speechless. These are wonderful!

P.S. Grandpa has enough hair for 3 men. It looks like his real name is Salvatore, and the Witness Relocation Program moved him to Oklahoma!

This is Salvatore's son, Thomas...and I inherited the hair gene's of my Scottish Grandad....which was, a flourish of red, followed by rapid retreat.

Russ...these are interesting pictures, of which I only recall seeing the one of me with a cutting torch. We lived in a trailer in Hobbs, in a park with no grass, at all. That was where I was burned pretty badly on the shoulder.

Thanks for the pictures...my, they bring me back a ways.

Salvatore...hilarious! I love looking at the details in the background. It seems to have been a very hard time to grow up, both economically and landscape wise, but thankfully there was a lot of love in the house.
