Birthday-eve

And some more pics to enjoy on this birthday-eve.

Look at that devilish grin! He's getting ready to break something, for sure. Back says "Tom at about 4".

This is a great photo that I'd never seen before. So funny and original. Back of the photos says "Hobo Day/Marlow".

Back of these pics say they developed in March 1948. In the first one below, I think I see a sword hanging on the tree beside dad's head. Also, a picnic table in the second photo. Is this at a lake?

"And then a new contender arises," indeed! I now dub you Keeper of All Things Fowler Nation.

I *love* the hobo photo. (Ooh...that's fun to say--"Hobo photo! Hobo photo!") Check out Dad's hands...they're nearly as large as Grampa's REAL hands! lol

And as for that little boy in the rolled-up jeans...I want to hug him and buy him a Dr. Pepper & bag of peanuts! And pinch his cheeks! ADORABLE!!!!

Where did you get these pictures? Incredible...the hobo pic was from a Hobo Party that Mom put on...the pictures from the oasis were likely taken from a place called "Black River Village", because there are trees in the picture, and shade. That's where I caught my first fish, too...and first saw Dad ride a horse, like he was born to it.

Thanks, Russ...kinda embarrassing, but glad you are the keeper...you are giving one sibling a run for her money!
